A new generation of wind turbines
Under development
Traditional wind turbines have several issues when looking at residential urban environments.
- Noise
- High speed moving parts
- Bird strikes
- Height
- Turbulent airflow
- Failed products in landfill
- Difficult to maintain
The above mentioned issues were the driving factors that led us to design a turbine that could deal with and overcome all of these problems.
Although we are still in the development stage of this project, we are excited to have a wind generation product that will allow the majority of residential home owners to have micro wind energy systems in locations where solar may not be possible, or in most cases, to work in parallel with solar or other renewable energy generation products.
The ability to work in parallel with solar becomes a great asset when you consider hybrid or off grid solar systems where the system incorporates a battery system. This parallel operation is possible due to the development of our REC22 controller.
Wind and solar working together
Under development
It has been the dream of many renewable energy system owners to be able to have both wind energy and solar power working together. Although the suitability of the turbines has been a huge drawback for many years, it is also the ability for both systems to work in parallel without fighting against each other.
With our REC22 unit, we have designed a way for both the wind and solar power to generate at their maximum potential without interfering with each other.
The advantage of this system is that if you have a managed battery storage system, both the wind and the solar can provide power simultaneously, and for traditional grid connect style systems, you can generate clean energy day or night to help offset your power consumption and to provide power back into the power gird.
So where to from here?
We have come a long way from the first idea of simply developing renewable energy products to now building an entire community where we can do more than just sell a product, we can support people to become more responsible for their own impact on the world around us.
We are creating a growing community through our social media connections as well as through our new customers and business connections.
As we work hard to develop the wind energy products that we know many of you are waiting for, we are also developing a complete online store for a wide range of products that align with our overall vision of helping people to be environmentally responsible.
